This database is intended to foster collaboration and facilitate the exchange of useful animal models between investigators of the NCI Intramural Research Program. It provides NCI investigators with a list of useful animal models developed within, or are available from, the intramural scientific community, and provides access to relevant information about each model, such as the gene of interest, type of mutation, and brief description of their phenotype.
Please note that all gene names are according to standards set by the National Center for Bioinformatics' LocusLink
The Mouse Models of Human Cancer Consortium (MMHCC) has created a Murine Cancer Models Database that includes much more comprehensive information about the making of models, their genetic description, histopathology, derived cell lines, associated images, carcinogenic agents, therapeutic trials, and links to associated publications. Please visit this site to submit your models into this database or to view the models already entered. |
