Members of the 122 FW will work with the Fort Wayne Fire Department and HAZMAT, and the 53rd Civil Support Team out of Indianapolis during the exercise which is a yearly requirement by the Department of the Air Force.

"[The exercise] provides an opportunity for Department of Defense agencies to work with civilian agencies," said Lt. Col. Kenneth Stanley, 122nd Fighter Wing Logistics Readiness Squadron Commander. He also said that the exercise helps to enhance one of our core competencies, Defense Support to Civil Authorities, and gives the base an opportunity to exercise Mutual Aid Agreements with the local community.
