DOE SBIR/STTR Tech Transfer Initiative

These technologies are eligible for the DOE SBIR/STTR Tech Transfer Initiative.

The DOE SBIR/STTR Technology Transfer Initiative (TTI) will use the SBIR & STTR programs to assist with transferring technologies developed at DOE National Laboratories to small businesses.

• The Tech Transfer Opportunities (TTOs) developed at the National Labs will result from DOE funded projects in previous years.
• A small business that submits a winning proposal to the subtopic will be granted an option on the selected TTO to perform R&D during Phase I (up to $150,000 - 9 months) and Phase II (up to $1,000,000 - 24 months) award periods and be offered an opportunity to sign option agreement with the National Lab to protect future rights.
