Master Army Profession and Ethic Trainer (MAPET)
The MAPET course is designed to train selected Army Professionals to provide commanders with skilled trainers who positively impact the professional development programs at Army schools, centers, units, or organizations.

Description

The Master Army Profession and Ethic Trainer (MAPET) course is a five-day course, designed for leaders and trainers who are responsible for advising and supporting their commanders, commandants, and civilian leaders in managing a professional development program at a unit/organization, or an Army school/center.

MAPET Graduates are PREPARED TO:
  • Design and implement a Train-The-Trainer (TTT) Army Profession and Ethic program at their school, center, unit, or organization
  • Build and sustain a professional development program
MAPET Graduates WILL:
  • Be part of an enduring Community of Practice for future collaboration
  • Share current research and instructional resources related to the Army Profession, its ethic, culture and professional development
  • Collaborate with CAPE and with each other to share best practices, current research, and instructional resources related to the Army Profession
MAPET Objectives for Individual Army Professionals:
  • Mastery of key Army Profession concepts
  • Creation of unit professional development programs
  • Continued growth in pursuit of their own professional development
The Ideal MAPET graduate is:
  • Military or Civilian
  • In a key advisory or training position for Brigade-level Commander or Higher
  • Of the Rank :
    • Civilian: GS-11 (or equivalent) or above
    • NCOs: SFC or above
    • Warrant Officers: CW2 or above
    • Commissioned Officers: CPT or above
