History of U.S. Army Cyber Command / U.S. 2nd Army
The U.S. Army is steeped in tradition and the mantle of the 2nd Army that stood up in World War One is now passed on to the U.S. Army Cyber Command. In accordance with Department of the Army directive, the Institute of Heraldry and the Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Army, the U.S. Army Cyber Command adopts this honorable lineage respecting the past and poised for the future. U.S. Army Cyber Command will continue to uphold the history and proud traditions of the 2nd Army while moving forward to protect the Army in the cyber domain.
