Validity Dates:

The validity dates printed on a visa are the dates within which the bearer may travel to the U.S. and apply for admission. Upon entry, an officer from Customs & Border Proetction (CBP) will determine the period of time that the visa bearer is authorized to stay in the United States. For Non-Immigrant Visas, Customs & Border Protection (CBP) grants visitors a length of stay based on the time needed to accomplish the purposes of the visit.
