U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren touted the importance of investing in education and infrastructure after touring Genzyme’s new biomanufacturing facility Friday. The private look inside the Biologics Support Center at 68 New York Ave. left the new senator, just a month into her first term, clearly impressed. "Genzyme is important to Massachusetts, but it’s important to the world," Warren told reporters in the lobby. "The work that is being done here is truly extraordinary."
