If you find yourself in an emergency situation, you can contact someone at the Embassy or Consulate 24 hours a day. 

The American Citizen Services office can be reached at (212) 522-26-71-51. This office is open from Monday through Friday 8 am until 5 pm.  Our fax number is (212) 522-29-77-01. 

If you have an after-hours emergency, please call (212) 661-13-19-39.

NOTE: These numbers are for emergencies involving American Citizens only. Questions regarding visas should be directed to the appropriate visa office.

When you are in a foreign country, you are subject to its laws. If you experience difficulties with local authorities, keep in mind that American officials are limited in what they can do to assist you by foreign laws, U.S. regulations and geography. The U.S. Government has no funds for your legal fees or other related expenses.

Please note that all consular matters are handled at the U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca.

  • The U.S. Consulate General in Casablanca, Morocco, provides routine consular services by appointment to all U.S. citizens visiting or resident in Morocco.
