I want to invite a Visitor to Fermilab
- Authorize computing privileges for the Visitor. Go to the computing division. There are 10 questions to answer about the Visitor’s activities here. Once you hit “submit” the request is sent electronically to a spokesperson/supervisor for approval, and then forwarded to the Users Office for data-entry. Once finalized, computing privileges are renewed/extended.
- Ensure the visitor takes appropriate Training for his/her activities. All new employees and visitors coming to the lab must take an ES&H online training. course. This class includes GERT, Rad and Safety. The ES&H training may be taken online before you arrive here at the lab provided the individual has a Fermilab ID Number, which is issued during the process of obtaining the Fermilab computing privileges.
