1/31/2013: VA, HUD Secretaries Conduct Point-In-Time Homeless Count

On January 31, 2013, VA Secretary Shinseki and Deputy Secretary Gould joined HUD Secretary Donovan and The Community Partnership for the annual homeless Point-In-Time count in Washington. During the last week of January, the Department of Veterans Affairs, Housing and Urban Development, and local agencies across the country conduct Point-in-Time Counts—to get a statistically reliable, unduplicated count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless Veterans, individuals and families in the U.S. Photos courtesy Dept. of Veterans Affairs.
