Directorate of Human Resources (DHR)

Mission:
Provide community counseling, educational and administrative service to US Army Garrison Daegu and tenant commands on Camps Carroll, Henry and Walker. 

In addition, provide S-1 support for all military and civilians assigned.
 
The Administrative Services Division provides personnel administrative services for US Army Garrison Daegu.  This includes review of all Civilian Personnel packets prior to submission to the command group, preparation of command and staff sections travel orders, time cards and awards; operation of the official and consolidated mailrooms; managing the Army Emergency Relief, Combined Federal and Voting Assistance campaigns for the Area IV community.
 
The Military Personnel Services Division provides military personnel services for U.S. Army Garrison Daegu, including military evaluation reports, awards, personnel actions and accounting.

The Community Counseling Center strengthens the overall fitness and effectiveness of Garrison Daegu total workforce and enhances combat readiness of its Soldiers.

The Education Division vigorously promotes lifelong learning opportunities to sharpen the competitive edge of the Army by providing and managing quality self-development programs and services.
