MODIS Image NPP for North America

This is a map of Net Primary Production (1 km resolution) for North America calculated from MODIS data collected from January 1 to December 31 in 2003. Net primary productivity (NPP) is the sum of the cumulative daily PSNnet less the costs associated with annual maintenance and growth respiration.
