The purpose of this website is to provide general information about blended learning and to stimulate discussion and collaboration within the DoDEA community about expanding blended learning opportunities for students as a means of promoting 21st Century learning. A blended learning model of instruction will be used with DoDEA���s state-of-the-art video telepresence systems that will be installed in 82 schools and offices by summer 2012.

Blended learning, an instructional approach that combines face-to-face classroom methodologies with digital resources to augment instruction is an established, rapidly growing model of teaching. It has proven highly effective in helping schools and districts address the challenges of student achievement, limited resources, and the expectations of 21st century learners.��
