Cultural Section

The Cultural Section develops and manages an array of exchange programs between various segments of Polish and American society, and administers United States government involvement in cultural and educational activities between Poland and the United States. The section promotes mutual understanding and cooperation between Poland and the United States by supporting the free flow of information and a wide range of professional, educational and cultural programs. The Cultural Section also organizes and cooperates on various Cultural Events that promote American culture in Poland and strengthen Polish-American cultural relations.

Do you want to study in the U.S .? The Public Affairs Section at the U.S. Embassy in Warsaw has established an Educational Advising Center that provides services to Polish citizens interested in university and graduate study in the U.S. Learn more about the admissions process, necessary documentation and fees, and required standardized tests. The Embassy also supports teaching English to young learners through its Young Learners Resource Centers in Poland that provide teachers and young students with print, audio and visual teaching and learning props to make their teaching and learning experience more efficient, interesting and fun.

Do you think about exchange programs in the U.S.? The Fulbright Commission may offer graduate study and advance research for students, scholars, teachers, and professionals. The Embassy also invites current or potential leaders in government, politics, media, education, labor relations, the arts, business and other fields for short-term study tours in the U.S. to meet with their American counterparts within the Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.

Do you want to sustain your U.S. experience upon return from your exchange program? Join Polish Alumni Association that the Embassy developed for the alumni of U.S. Government - funded exchange programs to network with their fellow alumni.

Are you interested in learning more about the U.S. from an American Speaker?  You can invite a U.S. diplomat to your school through the or you can visit the Embassy and meet with U.S. diplomats.

Do you want to meet with American experts? in various subjects from culture, art through politics, history and economics? Public Affairs Section can facilitate such meetings via America Presents program and American Experts program.
