The Installations, Environment, and Occupational Safety and Health (I, E & OSH) Division of the Naval Inspector General is comprised of two branches, which are Installations and Environment (I & E) and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH). 

The I, E & OSH Division is responsible for technical assistance for command assessments, area risk assessments, and special project/inquiries.

Mission:  Our mission is to provide senior Navy leadership and the chain of command an accurate, objective, unrestricted and timely assessment of the efficiency and effectiveness of the Department's Installations, Environmental and Occupational, Safety and Health Programs by conducting oversight reviews at all levels of Navy commands.  We also provide sound, impartial advice to SECNAV, CNO, and CMC together with positive assistance to organizations and individuals in order that the Navy and Marine Corps can maintain the highest levels of readiness, effectiveness, discipline, efficiency, integrity, and public confidence.
