Walking Instructions

The nearest subway station is Yodoyabashi on the Midosuji Line. Use Exit One, turn right upon exiting and walk straight for about five minutes. The Consulate will be on your right. Hankyu Umeda, Hanshin Umeda and JR Osaka rail stations are all about a fifteen minute walk from the Consulate down Midosuji Boulevard. The Consulate is located at the intersection of Midosuji and Shin Midosuji Boulevards, near Osaka City Hall.

Security Procedures for Entering the Consulate

Upon arrival at the Consulate, you are asked to show your personal or official photo identification (i.e. driver license, student ID, passport, alien registration card, etc.) to the Receptionist on duty. You will not be permitted to bring electronic devices, such as laptop computers, cell phones, radios, cameras, electronic dictionaries, etc. into the Consulate. And you must leave all food and drink outside. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation
