The information on these pages will be updated.  Many changes have occurred with the introduction of GoArmyEd for Active Duty, Army Reserve and activated National Guard.   Please call The Carlisle Barracks Army Education Center at 717-245-3943 For Information.  Hours are Monday to Friday, 0800-1600. 

TESTING:  CATHY POPE AT 717-245-2084.  Cathy is available for testing M,T,TH.  Hours are 0800-1500.  Call to make an appointment.  No walk-ins.
APT testing requires Military approval.  Please contact Cathy for the Sample format.

GOARMYED:  If you are a new user to GoArmyEd, go to www.GoArmyEd.com.  Select the "New Users" tab in the top right corner of the screen.
Read the Training - You must know the procedures of applying for Army Tuition Assistance through the Army.   PRINT THE SOU.  SIGNATURES ARE REQUIRED.
UPLOAD TO YOUR GOARMYED TAB USING THE HIP POCKET GUIDE.

CALL THE CARLISLE BARRACKS ARMY EDUCATION CENTER AT 717-245-3943 TO ACTIVATE YOUR GO ARMY ED ACCOUNT.  You must have your classes approved prior to their Start Date.   All instructions are in GoArmyEd under Help>Training>Soldier Reference Documents.  We will provide the steps in a logical sequence.   Your next step is to read the Course Enrollment Guide - LOI School or NON LOI School?  Follow the Screen shots and instructions.  NON LOI Schools - have a few extra steps.  You need to contact us.  

Post 9/11 GI BILL:  VA provides the actual funding.  Please go to www.GIBILL.VA.GOV for the most UPDATED information.  We provide you with an overview of the program and answer basic questions to help you.  IF you are transferring your POST 9/11 GI BILL, please call the Education Center for a "instruction sheet".  The end date for your children, is the date they turn 26.   If you have the Montgomery GI Bill, do the comparisons at www.GIBILL.VA.GOV.  If used most of it, find out how you can receive 12 additional months under the Post 9/11 GI Bill.   It's your choice Chapter 30 or Chapter 33.
