Please first confirm whether or not you need to apply for a visa. If you are a Bruneian or a national of any other Visa Waiver Program (VWP) participating country, or already hold a valid U.S. visa, you may not need to apply for a new U.S. visa.

Please give yourself sufficient time to apply for the visa. One of the most common oversight is applicants booked their travel plans without leaving sufficient time to apply for their visa. While we strive to process your visa applications in a quick and efficient manner, we are unable to gurantee the issuance of a U.S. visa before a fixed travel date.

If you do need to apply for a nonimmigrant visa, please follow the steps below.

Step 1:
Access the online DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application by clicking Consular Electronic Application Center website. Each traveler must fill out an individual application.

Step 2:
To make an appointment after you have completed the DS-160, you need to take these next steps:

• Print and keep the DS-160 barcode confirmation page. (You will not need to print the full application.)
• Make an appointment online at Brunei Nonimmigrant Visa Appointment System.

Step 3:
Visit the U.S. Embassy Bandar Seri Begawan on the date and time of your visa interview.
