The Relocation Readiness Program provides education, counseling, relocation planning, information, and referral to all service members, civilians and their Families during all types of moves. Our goal is to prepare individuals to take responsibility for their move and to assist the Family in understanding and managing the emotional impact of frequent moves.

Welcome Packets

USAG Schweinfurt Welcome packets are available through your Army Community Service Center and Central Processing Facility. You're welcome to come by and pick one up. Our welcome packets are loaded with community information you can use, places to go and places to see all over Germany and Europe. The welcome packet also includes a USAG Schweinfurt community telephone directory, Welcome to Europe Guide, Getting Around in USAREUR Guide and much more. You can pick up this packet at ACS.

Destination Schweinfurt

Destination Schweinfurt is a newcomers series comprised of 10 programs from which you can pick and choose. Each program is designed to address a different subject new members of our community will find helpful.

Pick up your itinerary for a great beginning in our wonderful community by stopping by Army Community Service in Building 242 on Ledward Barracks, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m, to sign up for the sessions that are right for your situation. You may also get more information about Destination Schweinfurt at the Meet and Greet sessions held the second and fourth Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. in the Bradley Inn Kitchen. Sponsorship Training

Apply for a sponsor today. A sponsor can help you and your Family get acquainted in your new community and can help you find all the local resources, both military and civilian. EASI-Gate (European Assignment/Sponsorship Integrated Gateway) is the one-stop real time web-based portal for Soldiers on orders to Europe. DOD civilians, contractors and military of other services should contact the gaining agency or USAG Schweinfurt ACS directly to request a sponsor.

If you have been selected by your unit to sponsor a newcomer, you will be the link to their new unit, installation, and community. Check out eSAT (eSponsorship Application & Training) or call ACS to sign up for the sponsorship training.

Lending Closet

Household goods not here yet? Borrow ours! We lend basic housekeeping items (flatware, cookware, dishes) for up to 60 days. Arriving and departing personnel can use the Lending Closet by simply bringing a copy of current PCS orders (within 60 days) to ACS. Click here to see items available for loan.

Culture College

Culture College is a one-day orientation into German culture and customs. The morning session covers key German words and phrases and learn about the local culture and customs. During the afternoon session, we will conduct a walking tour of Schweinfurt's downtown and learn to use the local bus transportation.

Newcomers Meet & Greet

The Newcomers Meet and Greet is a one-hour orientation to the USAG Schweinfurt. The event is led by ACS and attended by unit FRSAs, unit S1s, and volunteers. Best practices are provided and discussed, leading to a better initial entry into the Schweinfurt family. The event takes place on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 1000-1100 at the Bradley Inn Kitchen on Conn Barracks.
