Join the delegation for the annual Offshore Technology Conference

The Commercial Section of the American Embassy in Nicosia is organizing a delegation for the annual Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston, Texas that will take place May 6 to 9, 2013.  Founded in 1969, the OTC is the world’s leading event for the development of offshore resources in the fields of drilling, exploration, production, and environmental protection.

By joining the delegation, participants will be entitled to the following benefits: complimentary admission (a $120 value); complimentary access to all technical sessions; matchmaking service (assistance with setting up meetings with U.S. companies and/or U.S. exhibitors); access to the Center for International Trade (private meeting rooms, internet access, etc); assistance with registration for the conference; assistance with hotel reservations (based on availability at the time of registration).

OTC ranks among the largest 200 trade shows held annually in the United States.  Last year's event featured over 2,500 exhibitors, which consisted of manufacturers and suppliers of technical products and services utilized in offshore resources, recovery, and development.  Sold out and totaling 641,350 square feet, it was the largest OTC since 1982.  89,400 people attended last year's conference, the largest number in 30 years.  

OTC 2013 will feature displays by major oil and gas companies and related subsidiary industries, equipment manufacturers and service providers of the latest technological advances in such categories as: Drilling, Exploration, Fabrication, Instrumentation & Controls, Environmental, Marine, Materials, Oilfield Chemicals, Oil Spill Cleanup, Pollution Control, Process, Production, Safety, Seismic, Specialized Equipment, Subsea Exploration, Survey, Telecommunications, Testing, Tools, Training, Transportation, and Well Completion among others.
