TEDx Joven Pura Vida
U.S. Ambassador Anne S. Andrew was pleased to participate in TEDxJoven@PuraVida. It was more than a conference. It was an experience that brought together young people from all over Costa Rica to share ideas with dynamic speakers who urged them to turn their dreams into reality.
American teenager Caroline Moore was part of the event. At the age of 14, Caroline discovered her first supernova – one that was relatively rare because it was not very bright.
In July 2009, Caroline discovered another supernova. She has been recognized by the local and federal government in the United States.
With the example of Caroline, the Ambassador Andrew stressed that the young attendees, "continue dreaming, find the ingredients to transform your dreams into innovative actions, I look forward to seeing you in the future here on this stage, sharing your successes with the next generation of young people."
