The United States Diplomatic Mission to Brazil announces visa statistics for the month of January 2013

The United States Diplomatic Mission to Brazil processed 67,335 visa applications in January 2013. In 2012, the Mission released monthly consular workload statistics to the Brazilian public, and starting this month, the Mission will also provide wait times for visa interviews compared to the previous year. This month’s reduced wait times are the result of efforts by the U.S Department of State to provide faster and more efficient consular services to Brazilians who wish to travel to the United States.
