WESTERN SELECTS COLORADO RIVER STORAGE PROJECT MANAGER

Lynn Jeka

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Acting Administrator Anita Decker has announced the selection of Lynn Jeka as the new manager for Western Area Power Administration’s Colorado River Storage Project Management Center.

Jeka has been Western’s financial manager reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and most recently served a detail working with Western’s Transmission Infrastructure Program to improve the financial reporting and financial processes within the TIP office.

Jeka will be responsible for overseeing the management and execution of all power marketing activities for CRSP MC and the Montrose Energy Management and Marketing Office including the sale, purchase, wheeling, interchange and transmission of power between power wholesalers in the six-state CRSP MC service area; the rate setting for these services; Basin Fund management; resource prescheduling and resource analysis functions delegated to the CRSP MC.

Jeka has extensive experience in the financial accounting and contracts area having worked at National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Golden Field Office and as a Department of Defense contracts auditor. She has master’s and bachelor’s degrees in accounting from George Mason University.
