Funding Opportunities

Several times each year, proposals are requested for individual projects, either directly by NOAA’s Restoration Center or through its partners. The table below lists our current and past funding opportunities. Opportunities that are now closed often have deadlines in a similar timeframe each year, and these pages have instructions and requirements that can assist in future applications.

In addition to nationwide funding opportunities, regional funding opportunities are available through the NOAA Restoration Center partnerships that announce open competitions for restoration funds throughout the year. These cooperative partnerships allow us to target regional restoration priorities and leverage NOAA contributions with local resources. During open announcements, applications should be directed to the partner organization.
