Sep. 30, 2012, Congratulations to 2012 DDR Award winners

From the recent American Nuclear Society (ANS) Decommissioning, Decontamination and Reutilization (DDR) 2012 Topical Meeting held in Chicago, IL, USA June 24-28, 2012, we would like to congratulate the two 2012 DDR Award winners who were presented their awards at this meeting:

* ‘ANS-DDR Award of Excellence’ presented to Mr. Michael Anderson of Siempelkamp Nuclear Services (formerly MOTA Corp) of West Columbia, SC, USA.

* ‘ANS-DDR Lifetime Achievement Award’ presented to Mr. Jean-Guy Nokhamzon of the French Commissariat à l'Énergie Atomique (CEA), Paris, FRANCE .

These awards were initially presented in 2005 by the DDR Division of the ANS and are presented typically at each DDR Topical Meeting or at each DDR Conference. This was the 4th time these awards were presented – more details at the DDR website
