2/3/2013 - YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan --  --   Each February, the country recognizes African American History Month to highlight the struggles and triumphs of millions of American citizens during some of the most devastating obstacles in the nation's history. -- slavery, prejudice, poverty -- and looks at their contributions to the nation's cultural and political life. The slated schedule of events are as follows:

AAHM Family 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Date and Time: Feb. 9; 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Location: Base Fitness Center

AAHM Taste-N-Tunes
