Eielson Clubs
The 354th Force Support Squadron operates two club facilities: the MiG Alley Bar and Yukon Club. The Yukon Club, Bldg. 2470, offers a sports lounge and snack bar, a workday lunch and features an extensive menu including pizza and grilled hamburgers, available midday to evening. The sports lounge, for enlisted members on Friday evenings, has televisions arranged in sports bar fashion, a dance floor and pool tables. It offers regularly scheduled entertainment such as DJs, dance music and bingo. Call (907) 377-2051 for more information.

The Yukon Club 
The Yukon Club is open to all ranks for lunch and dinner. Regular menu items are available 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, and 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Daily lunch specials are available on weekdays, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner specials run on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. The lounge offers a variety of programs and is open Fridays and Saturdays. Two Seasons Dining Facility
Two Seasons is the base dining facility located in Bldg. 2207. It's open Monday through Friday for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight meals. On weekends, Two Seasons is open for brunch, dinner and midnight meals. Payment for meals received by other than subsistence-in-kind entitlement members is cash only. Due to a limited change fund, bills larger than $20 cannot be accepted. All incoming permanent-change-of-station people and their family members who are in TLA status may eat in the dining facility their first three days on station. Fitness and Sports Center
Wally ball and racquetball courts, exercise rooms, a steam room, saunas, weight rooms, massage therapy, locker rooms, a basketball court, an indoor swimming pool, a volleyball court, an indoor football field, an indoor running track and an athletic equipment check-out center are all part of the coed fitness complex. Intramural sports consist of basketball, golf, softball, racquetball, tennis, flag football and volleyball. Instructional classes are offered in aerobics, Pilates, weight training and boot camp. Known as Baker Field House, the fitness and sports center is located in Bldg. 3343 and is open 24/7. Call (907) 377-1925 for more information.

Equipment Check-Out
Rental equipment is available for most recreational needs year round, including camping, hunting, boating, fishing, barbecues, cross-country skiing, sledding, bicycling and more. Arctic Nite Lanes
The Arctic Nite Lanes is a 20-lane bowling center with automatic scoring open to both league and nonleague bowlers. The center also has a snack bar and pro shop. Thunder Alley, glow-in-the-dark bowling with a state-of-the-art light show and stereo sound system, is available most weekends and for private parties by prior arrangement. Children's birthday party packages are offered. The bowling center is located in Bldg. 409. Call (907) 377-1129 for more information.

Lane 21 Snack Bar, at Arctic Nite Lanes Bowling Center, is open to all ranks for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday through Sunday. The grill closes a half-hour prior to the snack bar closing. For current hours of operation, visit www.eielsonforcesupport.com or call (907) 377-5154.

Iceman Falls Lodge
Outdoor Adventure programs and winter equipment check-out can be found at the Iceman Falls Lodge on base. The lodge has cross-country ski trails, a sled hill, ski hill and lift, and an ice rink. Winter snow lovers may schedule snowmobile tours or ice fishing outings with the outdoor adventure crew. The lodge is located at the end of Quarry Road in Bldg. 1377. Birch Lake
For outdoor enjoyment, military members and their families can take advantage of the Birch Lake Recreation Area, 35 miles south of Eielson along the Richardson Highway.

The camp is nestled in the wilderness on the shore of Birch Lake, which is brimming with rainbow trout and Arctic char. Cabins, camper pads, tent spots, picnic area, boats, canoes and a lodge are available for use. Activities include boating, canoeing, water skiing, fishing, berry picking, wading and barbecuing. Don't forget your camera--you're likely to see wildlife including moose, fox, beaver, a wide variety of waterfowl and an occasional eagle. Although camping is limited to the summer months, the rest of the area is open year round, with winter cabin rental and activity programs. Valdez
Valdez is located 314 miles south of Eielson on the north shore of Port Valdez, a deepwater fjord in Prince William Sound. Valdez offers great fishing and hiking, and has terrific potential for whale sightings. It is the last stop of the trans-Alaska oil pipeline. Eielson has eight camping trailer sites equipped with electrical power and water at Eagles Rest Campground. Five "you drive" boats are available for rent for fishing and sightseeing. The military recreation site is open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, weather permitting. Call (907) 377-1232 for more information.

Bear Lake Family Camp
Eielson's Bear Lake Family Camp, located on base, is open May 15 through Labor Day. This exciting camping area offers 41 camper pads and eight tent sites. Amenities include showers, bathrooms, laundry facilities, canoe rental and an on-site dump station. Community Center
The Community Center, located in Bldg. 5225 (2555 Coman Ave), features family-focused activities and programs including a computer lab, family fitness room (with children's activity area and cable TV), and indoor play land and bouncy castles. It also features party rooms that can be used for birthdays and other celebrations, a billiards room, a music room complete with pianos, keyboards and a drum pad, a conference room and quilting/crafting room. The center offers Driver's Education classes and also conducts numerous Airman and family activities year round including gaming nights and holiday events. Library
The base library, located in the Community Center, provides mission, education and leisure-time materials. A wide variety of books, computer resources, videos, cassettes and CDs are available for loan. Special collections include information on Alaska, transition assistance, CLEP, civil service and other exam study guides, plus children's materials. Services include reference, inter-library loan, public computers and typewriters, and photocopier. Library orientation classes and Internet access are also available. Skills Development Center
Formerly the skills development center, this multi-crafts center provides organized creative skills development activities in Bldg. 2540, next to the commissary. Classes are scheduled according to base population interests and instructors are sought from the community. People with custom handcrafts are encouraged to display work for sale through the consignment program. The award shop offers custom graphic work and engraving on plaques, trophies, shirts, cups, gold pans and Alaska treasures. The custom frame shop can frame most flat work at a fraction of off-base costs. The center offers monthly specials, UPS services and balloon bouquets. Call (907) 377-4880 for more information.

Information, Ticket & Tours
Information, Ticket & Travel (ITT) offers discount tickets for movies, sporting events and local attractions such as gold panning, dog sledding and shopping sprees. ITT is located in the Arts & Crafts Center, Bldg. 2540. Call (907) 377-2722 for more information.

Wood Skills Center
The wood skills center is a self-directed activity located in Bldg. 2611. The center offers seasonal-theme classes and courses on safety and skills development. A wide variety of wood supplies are available for purchase. Call (907) 377-1168 for more information.

Auto Skills Center
Self-directed automotive work is highlighted at the Auto Skills Center in Bldg. 2611. Skilled technicians are available to provide guidance. Sixteen auto stalls are available and include three lifts and a welding stall. Workstations are equipped with toolboxes and specialty tools can be checked out. A variety of computerized diagnostic services are also available. During winter months, the center provides a stall for car washing. The center provides a water hose but users must bring their own supplies. Call (907) 377-3190 for more information.

Skeet and Trap Range
The skeet and trap range is located at the end of Quarry Road, near the Iceman Falls Ski Hill & Lodge. The two ranges are equipped with a high house, a low house and five-stand for skeet shooting, and also offer a trap house. There are eight positions for trap and five positions for skeet. Patrons may rent 12-gauge shotguns; shotgun shells are available for purchase. Call (907) 377-5338 for more information.

RV storage area
A secured, fenced and lighted recreational vehicle storage lot is provided by outdoor recreation. The RV lot has 24-hour key card access. RV space can be obtained, for a monthly fee, at the equipment checkout center in Bldg. 2762. Call (907) 377-1232 for more information.
