STROKE MATERIALS
The Know Stroke campaign materials are available in a variety of formats, including brochures, television and radio public service announcements (PSAs), videos, and posters. Most can be ordered for individual use or in quantity, to be distributed in health care facilities, government agencies, businesses, non-profit organizations, civic groups, and other community settings. These public education materials on stroke are available for free from NINDS.

Know Stroke Toolkit
This boxed kit of materials has everything needed for planning and conducting a stroke education event. Included is a facilitator's guide, with step-by-step training on how to host a stroke awareness event; brochures in Spanish and English; posters; and an award-winning 8 minute videotape featuring interviews with medical experts and stroke patients.

Spanish Toolkit
The Spanish-language toolkit on stroke is designed to be used by lay health educators (promotores de salud), community leaders, and health care professionals to educate Hispanics about the signs of stroke and the importance of calling 911 promptly. This substantial boxed toolkit includes a bilingual, laminated, stand-alone flipchart (14" x 17") which graphically illustrates the different types of stroke, risk factors and symptoms. The kit also contains a 13-minute Spanish-language video and Spanish-language brochures.
