Before You Visit
Before receiving services with Bay Pines VA Healthcare System, you should first determine your eligibility.
Eligible veterans should contact us to schedule an appointment.
If you have an existing appointment and cannot keep it, let us help you change it. This way, we will be able to see another veteran during that time period.
During Your Visit
There may come a time when you are unable to decide or tell us what you want. You have the opportunity now to make some decisions ahead of time by completing an Advance Directive.
We want to assist you in learning more about your condition, how to live a healthy lifestyle, and ways to self-manage your own health.
A number of programs have been established to assist you in the event you have a concern or complaint.
We want to keep you as safe as possible during your stay and help you stay informed.
o The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is pleased you have selected us to provide your health care. We will provide you with personalized, patient-driven, compassionate, state-of-the-art care. Our goal is to make your experience as positive and pleasant as we can. As part of our service to you, to other Veterans and to the Nation, we are committed to improving health care quality. Your basic rights and responsibilities are outlined here.
After Your Visit
Now that you've been a patient, you may have some concerns after you leave. Let us help you on the path to recovery.
You may be billed for a number of co-payments as a result of your stay or appointment. We can also file claims with your insurance.
