Fred P. Hochberg, Chairman and President - Speeches and Testimony

Fred P. Hochberg is Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and one of the highest ranking business leaders in the Obama Administration.

Under his leadership in FY 2012, Ex-Im Bank for the fourth-straight year set export finance records in a number of key areas. Overall financing for the first time exceeded $35.8 billion in authorizations, which supported more than 255,000 American jobs in communities across the country. The Bank worked with more than 3,400 U.S. companies, 85 percent of which were small businesses. All told, Ex-Im financing has helped support hundreds of thousands of jobs over the last four years.

Wanda Felton, First Vice President and Vice Chair

Wanda Felton is Vice Chair and First Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States.  She was nominated by President Obama on April 8, 2011 and unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate on May 26, 2011. Ms. Felton travels extensively throughout the U.S. and internationally to promote President Obama's National Export Initiative. She also leads Ex-Im Bank's effort to increase commercial engagement between the U.S. and sub-Sahara Africa. Ms. Felton votes on proposals to finance U.S. exports and policy matters brought before the Board of Directors.

Sean Mulvaney, Member of the Board of Directors

Sean Robert Mulvaney is a member of the board of directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank). A presidential appointee, he was sworn-in on June 6, 2011.

Prior to his appointment, Director Mulvaney served as director of Economic Policy Program at the German Marshall Fund of the United States. Previously, he worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development, where he served until November 2008 as Assistant Administrator for Management, a Presidentially-appointed and Senate-confirmed position.

Patricia M. Loui, Member of the Board of Directors

Patricia M. Loui was nominated by President Obama on May 18, 2011, confirmed by the U.S. Senate on November 1, 2011 and sworn in to office on November 7, 2011, for a term expiring on January 20, 2015.

Prior to her appointment, Loui was the founder and chairman of OmniTrak Group Inc. She previously worked at Bank of Hawaii, a regional bank with an international portfolio. She also served as development planner for the United Nations in the Asia-Pacific region. She has lived and worked in China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Larry Walther, Member of the Board of Directors

Larry Walther was nominated by President Obama on July 21, 2011, confirmed by the U.S. Senate on November 1, 2011 and sworn in to office on November 14, 2011, for a term expiring on January 20, 2013.

Prior to his appointment, Walther was the director of the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) from March 2008 to January 2009. Prior to that position, Walther served for more than three years as the executive director of the Arkansas Department of Economic Development. Previously, Walther had a 30-year career with SBC Communications (now AT&T), which he concluded as the vice president for Corporate Services and chairman of the SBC Foundation.
