Young English Language Learners Test Their Skills

On February 11^th, Consul General Mike Reinert met with more than 200 university and high school students at the Urals Liberal Arts College gathered to improve their English language skills through various techniques including dictation.  Following a question and answer session, Mr. Reinert read a prepared English text about Valentine’s Day to the students that will be used to improve their English language listening comprehension and writing skills.  Faculty of the Liberal Arts College will critique each of the student’s final text with the goal of improving their writing skills.  The Valentine’s Day dictation proved to be a creative way to motivate students to improve their English language skills and represents just some of the innovative teaching being done at the Urals Liberal Arts College.
