  5. We are now spilling water at all 9 of our main Tennessee River dams. Due to the amount of water, we have closed the navigation lock at Fort Loudoun.

    Fort Loudoun, Watts Bar and Chickamauga are currently a couple of feet about summer eleva...tions (when we allow the water levels on the lakes to be at their highest).

    Guntersville, Wheeler and Wilson are all discharging about 1.25 million gallons per second and Kentucky is discharging about 1.5 million gallons per second.

    by the Senate

    The U.S. Senate confirmed a short time ago the nominations of V. Lynn Evans, Peter Mahurin, Michael McWherter and Joe H. Ritch to the TVA board of directors. Their confirmations will now be sent to President Obama for his signature.
