Non-immigrant Visas
The visa processing locations closest to the states of Chiapas and Tabasco are the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and the Consulate General in Mérida, though anyone is welcome to apply at any U.S. Consulate across Mexico or at the Embassy in Mexico City.
Most temporary visitors to the United States must apply for and obtain a nonimmigrant visa before beginning their journey. The information in the Embassy's website is designed to help you to understand the process and, if a visa interview is required, to come to the interview prepared.
