Foreign William J. Fulbright Master’s Degree Student Program
Open Competition for the 2014-2015
Fulbright Program provides opportunities for outstanding Turkmen graduates and mid career professionals to pursue studies in a two-year master’s degree program beginning in academic year 2014-2015. Applications are accepted in all disciplines and fields except medicine. Preference will be given to candidates who have not studied in the U.S.
Candidates should possess:
- a university degree by August 2014 and corresponding diploma;
- proficiency in English appropriate to enroll and study as a graduate student at a university in the United States. All candidates will need to take a TOEFL exam with a minimum 550 score received on paper based test, as well as a GRE test (more information about the tests and sample exams can be found on www.ets.org/toefl and www.ets.org/gre ). In some cases a GMAT is also necessary.
- Work experience in the proposed field of study is preferred.
Application process:
Fill out your application online -> come in for an interview -> take the TOEFL (August) -> Take the GRE (October) -> Wait for your results. Final placements will be announced in March 2014.
Due to a large pool of applicants, the U.S. Embassy will only call back selected candidates. If you have not received a call from us, this means you have not been selected.
