U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue
Secretary Clinton’s second visit to India as Secretary of State
The U.S.-India Strategic Dialogue 2011 provides us a chance; to not only reflect on a decade of closer relations with India, but also to look forward to the future and the limitless opportunities available for mutual prosperity. Bolstered by President Barack Obama’s November 2010 visit, the strategic partnership between our two countries has never been more promising. We are cooperating at unprecedented levels on education, science and technology, economics and trade, health, agriculture, countering terrorism, and providing for regional and global security for the benefit of the citizens of both our countries and of the world. This year’s Dialogue will take place in India as Secretary Clinton and Minister Krishna look to further the pledges already made to deepen people-to-people, business-to-business, and government-to-government linkages between the world’s oldest and largest democracies, for the mutual benefit of both countries and for the promotion of global peace, stability, economic growth and prosperity. We hope you find this page to be useful. On the left hand side you will find recent remarks, a fact sheet, upcoming events related to the Strategic Dialogue and links to our Facebook and Twitter pages. Sincerely,
Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asia
