The National Weather Service (NWS) is collecting feedback on a proposal to simplify current headline text in our winter weather hazard messages.

These messages are being created for test purposes only at selected locations and are not being disseminated. All official NWS winter weather hazard messages will be disseminated as usual this winter, including all computer-readable (e.g. VTEC) header information.
