Visas to the U.S.
The Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Luxembourg offers non-immigrant visa services for travelers wishing to visit, study or work in the United States for a limited period of time. Immigrant visa services for those wishing to establish permanent residence in the United States are not processed in Luxembourg, but are handled by the Consular Section of the U.S. Embassy in Brussels. Please see the links at left for more detailed information.
For security reasons only a limited number of people will be allowed in the Consular lobby at a time. This can result in having to wait outside even in inclement weather.
Emergency Travel
Applicants requiring immediate attention due to emergency circumstances may fax their request for an appointment, with an explanation of the urgency of their case, to +352 461939. All faxed requests hours for an emergency appointment received during business will be considered and confirmed by phone on a same day basis.
