MOU Signed with Portuguese Trade and Industry Associations

Through this MOU program, the U.S. Embassy’s FCS Portugal has created a framework for formalized cooperation and information sharing with leading Portuguese trade and industry associations in support of our various trade promotion programs. Associação Portuguesa para a Eficiência Energética e Promoção da Cogeração (COGEN Portugal ), Sociedade Portuguesa de Energia Solar (SPES), Associação Portuguesa das Agências de Viagem e Turismo (APAVT) and Associação Comercial de Lisboa (ACL) signed this memorandum.

This partnership increases efficiencies (tasking, time allocation, and communication) by creating structure and accountability on both sides. FCS Portugal has offered to open our network of domestic and embassy contacts, resources (online and print), and events to the associations; the associations agreed to leverage their network of local contacts, members, and events of interest to our clients and programs.
