Bird watching trip to the Chaco

The U.S. Ambassador participated as a host in a half-day diplomatic bird watching trip to the Chaco on Saturday, November 17.
This activity served to raise awareness for migratory birds conservation issues, promote Paraguay as a bird watching destination for foreign tourists, preserve the unique ecology of this country, and helped to educate Paraguayans on the great wealth of their natural resources that need to be properly managed.
Also participating in the tour were: The French and Mexican Ambassadors, specialists from Guyra Paraguay, youth from the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, English scholarship recipients from the U.S. Embassy, representatives of SENATUR, and journalists from prominent media outlets.
