A Message From Ambassador Wayne

Welcome To The VPP Site For Chiapas & Tabasco, April 2012

"Welcome to the United States' Virtual Presence Post in Chiapas and Tabasco, Mexico, which was designed to facilitate consular services, trade and commerce, and support mutual understanding and respect between the residents of these regions and the U.S.  While we do not have a physical Consulate in the states of Chiapas and Tabasco, officers of the U.S. government visit these regions multiple times per year to bring consular services, commercial services, public diplomacy, and other initiatives on the road.  In between trips, we do not want to miss any opportunities to communicate with you directly, so this website is a platform for us to host a dialog regarding our policies, our culture, and the American people.  You can also find information here about services available for American Citizens, as well as opportunities to study in the United States or how to apply for a visa to come visit us.  We hope that this virtual Consulate will prove to be a useful tool for you, and we welcome your feedback.  Thank you so much for visiting, and I look forward to hearing from you."
