Consular Services
Appointments are required for most services, including passport applications and notary services. Please be sure to identify the correct service that you wish to receive and carefully read all of the information provided. Once you have read through the relevant instructions, you will be given the opportunity to schedule an appointment.
Emergency services, Selective Service registration, and voting assistance are available on a walk-in basis during public hours: 8:30 am - 12:00 noon on any business day. We are closed on American and Canadian holidays.
Lost or stolen passports can be reported by faxing form DS-64 to 403-263-2241 or emailing the form to usconsulatecalgary@state.gov.
For Americans in need of legal assistance, they may choose to consult a list of attorneys who reside in the consular district, and who are believed to be qualified to perform legal services on behalf of U.S. citizens or firms.
