Information Operations Squadron, Detachment 1, at Scott Air Force Base,
Ill., during an enlisted call on July 30. During the call Chief Roy
discussed a number of serious topics including suicide prevention and
stressed the importance of what he calls analog leadership - that is, not
relying solely on technology to communicate. "We need to embrace technology
but we can't let it overcome us. Get in front of [people] and if they need
help, guide them. Every life matters," he said.
