Hanford Site Cleanup Completion Framework

The Hanford Site Cleanup Completion Framework provides a high-level and comprehensive overview of Hanford cleanup at this point in time. It is an informational tool to help communicate to employees, stakeholders and the public the complex task of cleaning up Hanford, including cleanup goals, progress achieved, technical challenges that remain and how future decisions will be made. A brief overview of Hanford's past and current missions are presented along with more in-depth discussions of strategies to clean up the River Corridor, Central Plateau and Tank Waste. Other issues addressed in the document include Long-Term Stewardship and Legacy Management, Institutional Controls and DOE's Environmental Management Division's Energy Park Initiative.
