During FY12,
National Institute of Ceramic Engineers
(Electrical, Optical, & Nano Materials Department in Materials Science & Engineering) served as the President of the National Institute of Ceramic Engineers, a Class of the American Ceramic Society (ACerS) that represents the ceramic materials community for accreditation† and licensure‡ activities. During the same period, Geoff also served in a related but expanded role as the chair of an ACerS presidential advisory committee on Education and Young Professionals.
