About Us

The Power Electronics and Electric Machinery Research laboratory is located at the National Transporation Research Center which is designated as a DOE User Facility. The designation encourages collaborative efforts between the Power Electronics and Electric Machinery Research Group, industry, and academia. The most advanced analysis, simulation, and design software is available to the PEEMRG staff to implement state-of-the art circuit and motor designs. The PEEMRG provides a broad-based capability to generate data and analyze advanced power electronic and electric machinery devices. These capabilities are provided at the user's expense.

There are many ways to work with PEEMRG including a cooperative research and development agreement, a work for others agreement, or a user agreement. Each agreement is developed based on a user's desire to protect research results or inventions.

Please contact us for more information on how you can work with PEEMRG.
