Meir Kahane

Rabbi Meir Kahane (1932-1990) was the founder and national chairman of the Jewish Defense League (JDL). Kahane, an outspoken activist for Jewish causes, was assassinated by El Sayyid Nosair in 1990. Nosair was later convicted for his role in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. The FBI’s files detail Kahane’s JDL activities from 1970 to 1985.
