As President Lincoln said, it is our duty and our honor "to care for him who shall have borne the battle and for his widow and his orphan." We must ensure that our veterans receive the benefits they need while demanding accountability and efficiency from the government agencies responsible for providing critical services upon completion of duty.

I support policies that address the benefits claim backlog, ensure a seamless transition back home for new veterans, care for wounded warriors, seek ways to improve education benefits for veterans, and continue the mission of accounting for all U.S. military personnel mission from all wars.
