Albuquerque IHS Building The links below provide direct access to: The Area Directives and Delegations Control Officer (DDCO) is responsible for providing advisory services and assistance to AAIHS managers/supervisors for the development, clearance and distribution of AAIHS policy directives. The Area DDCO is also the liaison between the Albuquerque Area Office and the Management Policy and Internal Controls Staff (MPICS) at the Headquarters level. The link to the Indian Health Manual will provide national IHS-specific policy and procedural instructions.

Other issuances, including National and AAIHS Delegations of Authorities, which are not available on this website, can be obtained from the Area DDCO. Original signed copies on all Area Circulars and Policy Guidance/Issuances are retained in the Area DDCO's Office.

Direct links are also provided for: the IHS Records Management Program; the IHS Ethics Program; and the IHS FOIA/Privacy Act/ HIPAA Programs. Questions regarding these programs may be directed to the Area Records Management Officer, the Area Ethics Coordinator, and the Area Privacy Act/FOIA Coordinator, who is also the liaison between the Albuquerque Area Office and the programs located at the IHS Headquarters Office.
