The NSSC Procurement Office is a full service procurement activity providing acquisition management services to each field center within the Agency. Our core services include the award and administration of: grants and cooperative agreements, Phase I & II SBIR and STTR contracts, Agency-wide contracts (predominately information technology services and consolidated software license agreements), and on-site training purchases. Our Contracting Officers currently administer over 6,000 active contractual instruments with a portfolio value of over $5.4 Billion. In FY10, The NSSC Procurement Office obligated over $1.05 Billion of funding on behalf of the Agency.
Our organization also assists the HQs Office of Procurement by providing operational support for the Government purchase card program, 1102 (contract specialist) training program, FAC-C and FAC-COTR certification programs, strategic sourcing initiative, and CAAS verification and validation program.
