1. Raise awareness about the connection between CKD and its leading causes--diabetes and high blood pressure, and
2. Encourage health champions to talk to their communities about the importance of getting their kidneys checked.
NKDEP also educates health care providers about ways to better care for and educate their patients with CKD.
